The toilet bowl should also be cleaned at least once a week. You can use a homemade solution for this. Start by pouring at least half a cup of white vinegar into a container. Mix it up with a quarter cup of chlorine-based bleach. Let the mixture sit for a few minutes before applying it on the toilet bowl. Apply gently on every inch of the bowl. Once this is done let the solution sit on the bowl for at least an hour. Brush thoroughly with a toilet brush and then flash.

Drains should be flushed with hot water at least once a week. In addition to this, the drains should also be flushed with a cleaning mixture of boiling water, baking soda, and some vinegar once a month. This will ensure that any accumulated debris blocking the drains is broken down and removed. The hot water also helps deodorize the piping. It’s an essential step in maintaining the proper function of your drains at home.

Make sure that you also rotate any stacked books to prevent warping.

The simple checklist above can play a central role in making sure that the important things at home are always kept clean.
